With shared branching, credit unions from all over the country share facilities to give members thousands of convenient locations to perform transactions just as if they were in their home credit union. Whether you are at work, home, or your favorite travel destination, your credit union is always nearby.
To take advantage of this service, when you enter a shared branch you only need to bring:
* Your home credit union’s name
* Your account number
* Valid government-issued photo identification, i.e., State Driver’s license, US Passport
As part of the cooperative effort of the credit union movement, your Credit Union “shares” branches with other credit unions to provide members with additional locations and extended hours. That means members can access their Credit Union accounts throughout Florida and across the nation.
Shared Services allows member to receive the personal service they expect from their Credit Union – whether across town or hundreds of miles from home. All you need is your account number and proper ID to make deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash checks and transfer funds. At most shared facilities, you can even purchase money orders, travelers checks and cashier’s checks.
There are more than 200 Service Centers in Florida and more than 2,900 nationwide to serve our members.
For the most up-to-date locations in the state and across the nation, log on to www.creditunion.net or call 1-800-919-CUSC (2872) to find a branch near you.
Note: New accounts cannot be opened at a shared facility, only at your Credit Union office.
